Here they took the case on and filed the claim with the EdW, the German scheme; I filled in the form myself, in my own hand, and they checked every line of it for me. I received my 20,000 euros. They told me from the start that this is the ceiling the fund can pay, so I built up no illusions. My wife kept saying it was yet another swindle: she does not say that any more. Ms Ida Grandi was patient with my phone calls, and there were a great many of them. Thank you.”
