“court froze the accounts on the exchange, the lawyers pulled out my 80k. took longer than i thought but they got it all back. decent”
Crypto theft: court-ordered asset freeze“Yesterday €15,210 came in from the ICF — exactly 90%, TO THE CENT. Five months, a report every Monday like a watch log, NOT a single gap. Made my money fast to the dock, clean. Five stars — I don't do middle ground.”
CFD: Cypriot ICF fund“The bankruptcy administrator put me in the general queue with all the exchange's depositors — where they promised pennies on the euro at best. My pension top-up was sitting on that exchange. The lawyers proved that the coins were held in a separate client wallet and had never belonged to the exchange, so they were excluded from the debtor's estate. Case duration: sixteen months. €11,900 recovered out of €12,800. Twice I was given a phone appointment for a specific hour, and twice the call came through on the exact minute. I drove trains on schedule for thirty-seven years, so I know what that's worth. This is the third review of my life. Recommended.”
Crypto exchange: insolvency and segregated assets“The call came on a Tuesday. There was no platform behind it, which I worked out far too late. Of €19,000, €11,400 came back, the rest they ate. Forty years fitting locks and it was no use to me. Three stars: for the work, not for the amount.”
Fake platform via call center“everyone turned me down cause its some decentralized exchanges. SwapPool or something like that. im old i dont get this stuff. they got 5 thousand back from the dao. ok.”
DEX: protocol exploit and recovery of funds“well what can i say they got the money back but that fund case took half a year. the firm normal italian outfit works slow. mr brandani wrote letters forever but the sum arrived €20,000. the fund's max, out of my €26,000 the rest the cap ate because over twenty thousand they don't pay. long story short you can work with them but you need nerves of steel.”
Forex bank: Italian National Guarantee Fund“A call centre rang me, supposedly some elite investment platform, and every week the 'manager' would send a little screenshot of my balance going up. I put in £6,400 — and that was the money for the van lease, without the van I don't work. Tried to cash out — dead silence, the number doesn't exist anymore. Went to Carrara. They dug up that the whole platform was painted on, and my transfers had gone off my card — and they leaned on the bank until it logged them as fraudulent. The bank fobbed me off at first, I'd never have cracked it on my own. In four months, £5,900 of the £6,400 came back. The van lives. Their prices bite, I won't pretend otherwise, but the lads don't put on a show, they actually got it sorted. Verdict: go with them.”
Fake platform via call center“It was a case involving the FCA. It all went fairly quickly. I got my £15,000. The lawyers are excellent — they knew every nuance about the fines against the firm. What I liked was that there wasn't a lot of talk, just concrete steps. One downside — your services are expensive. But the result is worth it. Maybe in the future I'll come back again, if I ever land in something like this once more.”
Forex: regulator-enforced compensation“court froze the assets on the exchange, got almost everything out. the scammers had already pulled a bit before that, oh well. thanks”
