“the boys are absolute legends. pulled the cash out of CryptON X after the oracle got hacked. the DAO only gave back 30% and the lawyers put the hacker through the wringer in court and got the rest. 12k, straight up. respect”
DEX: protocol exploit and recovery of funds“I went into Arbistar 2.0 with the face of a man who thinks he has understood trading, and it was a Ponzi scheme: 9,000 euros gone. At the first meeting they explained that the only route was joining the criminal confiscation proceedings, and that the timing is not the firm's to decide. Last week the first payment arrived, 3,800 euros. They say there will be a further distribution of the assets seized from the fraudsters. What I value most is that nobody promised me millions to get my signature.”
Crypto pyramid: criminal asset confiscation“with 24Hr Trading Academy months of emails unanswered then the firm leaned on the regulator and 14000 pounds came out. every update i had to chase”
Forex: regulator-enforced compensation“I was very afraid it was fraud again, because the platform Maxigrid just locked the account and demanded another 2,000 euros for a «withdrawal corridor». Thank you to your firm for stopping me and keeping me from paying the fraudsters even more. The money (7,500 euros in total) came back a week ago through CySEC. Though I had to wait almost three months, and I was insanely nervous.”
Forex broker: withdrawal blocked“Nobel Trade: 14,000 euros up in smoke. the call centre in the Balkans rang every day, a different voice each time, all reading the same script. the lawyers did not sue a ghost, they went looking for where those bastards' assets were already seized, and found them in a court in Bavaria. the cars went under the hammer and the fund paid me out. people who do things instead of talking.”
Fake platform via call center“The court freezing the assets on the exchange is good. But part of my bitcoins the scammers had already sold off and scattered before the freeze, and the lawyers said right away that part couldn't be recovered. Sooo, I got back around 80,000 euros out of 120,000. The process dragged on a long time through the High Court in London. The firm is fine, works professionally, but they can't work miracles, that's a downside.”
Crypto theft: court-ordered asset freeze“I am 74, I live in Valencia, and this is the first review of my life: I am dictating it to my daughter, who is typing. For almost three years the company Alvora Capital would not release my payout, it kept talking about «suspicious transfers» — while it was the company itself that had proceedings open with the regulator. The lawyers proved that those transfers were perfectly ordinary tax payments made by the company, and that this had been established before the freeze was even imposed. That piece of nonsense angered me more than the loss itself. When payouts resumed, Ms Dorigo insisted on seeing the list line by line, and my confirmed request was on it. In May 28,400 euros arrived. Until today only my daughter knew. I am writing so as to stop keeping quiet at last.”
Prop-trading firm: frozen payouts“We filed the documents for the German EdW scheme regarding FXdirekt Bank through you in June. I was refunded 20,000 euros, the maximum the fund allows, but my mother's share was denied, because there were some bonuses credited by the broker in there, which the fund doesn't cover at all!! Why didn't the lawyer say right away about this 20,000 cap and the bonuses? We wasted time filling out the papers. But I got my money into my bank account yesterday, thank you Ms Vinci for the work.”
Forex bank: German EdW fund“just awesome!! the broker Fjordera locked my account, thought my €12,000 was totally done for. reached out here, the guys pulled it out through Cyprus in a month. CySEC leaned on them or something. long story short, recommend it, top outfit!!”
